Normally I love this place. However my 2 kids and I came in with food to donate in exchange for a game but we were told no the deal ended a day prior even though it was still advertised on the screens and at the counter

This would be a very good place to visit if they didn’t put height limits on whether or not you can use bumpers, well, me and a group of my friends were here. A worker came up to us and told us that there were height limits for the bumpers and as someone who doesn’t know how to bowl very well. I thought this is very annoying, but I would definitely recommend coming here if you were under 4’11

The boardwalk bowl is always a fun time. It shows it's age, but I'm an endearing, nostalgic kind of way.

Took my 15 yr old nephew from out of town here, he had never bowled before.
The staff came and confiscated the 6 pound ball my nephew chose, citing that it’s for children only.
I argued that he is a child, then the employee specified it has to be a young child.
My nephew is maybe 120 lbs soaking wet, he was struggling with the 6 lb ball. I tried to explain this, but the employee refused to listen, so I refunded the remainder of our games and left
