If you want skis for your toddler 70,80,90 this is your store. We went to so many stores to get this size almost all stores did not carry these small sizes
Also Chris was a great chap.
He heard me went out about my skis and recommended the Atomic mavens which were so good to ski in compared to my Santa Ana’s!!

Chris was absolutely amazing and patient with fitting the ski boots for me. He took his time and was very thoughtful throughout the process. Chris was wonderful help in the process of me buying new boots! He helped me try on lots of pairs until I found the perfect fit. Very disappointing product and zero customer service
I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at the Salomon Whistler store.
I purchased a Salomon helmet with built-in goggles last March the DRIVER PRIME SIGMA PLUS MIPS the goggles never worked properly — they constantly fogged and actually pooled water inside due to condensation. It was completely unusable. Unfortunately, the ski season wrapped up shortly after my purchase.
When the season started again this year, I returned to the store to ask whether this was a known warranty issue, as I had heard this was the first year Salomon released this “visor/Viper-style” helmet and I was curious if others had issues as well assuming there would be an exchange due to being defective.
The response was shockingly unhelpful.
Staff could not even inform me if they could locate me in their system at all — despite the fact that I’m a long-time local (30 years as a full time local in Whistler) and had used a pass discount at the time of purchase. After trying to get a supervisor to return a call for over a week (two store visits and four phone messages) to try and get an answer or direction.
Finally, I was told that even if they could find proof internally at the Salomon store, I would still need to provide my own bank statement as proof of purchase.
No one ever outlined what the warranty process would be, what documentation was required, or what the outcome might be (repair, replacement, or nothing). Despite there apparently being supervisors and assistant managers, no one could explain even the most basic customer service procedure — nor execute a returned phone call.
At a certain point, the “receipt hell” simply wasn’t worth it, especially when there was zero indication the store would stand behind a clearly defective product or inform me of next steps.
This helmet was a significant investment. Salomon did not stand behind it, and the customer service at this store was honestly a zero. Very disappointing experience from a brand and a resort-owned store that should know better.
