We asked if we could just get a printed receipt which he said they don’t do that here. We found that odd as this outlet gets a lot of international traffic so providing a phone number or email address as a receipt wouldn’t make sense. You could hear the annoyance in his voice for not giving him a phone number or email…we didn’t understand why he was so upset. To make it even more weird, he then handed us a printed receipt (that the store didn’t do?) and shoved the bag at us. I asked him what his problem was and he didn’t say anything. As someone who also works in retail, you can have a bad day, but it’s important to compartmentalize so you’re not lashing out at customers. If he’s not a people person, there are other jobs that let you deal with less of them. I would never treat a customer like that Another employee told us that his name was Quintin
