Did not have my shoe size on two different models and pistol holster selection was almost nonexistent. Went to Bass Pro and got everthing I needed, plus more. At one time, Academy was a pretty good store.. not anymore in my opinion. I doubt if I ever go in another of their stores.
- DHDante HarrIsNov 5, 20251.0I purchased a preassembled Pit Boss vertical smoker, got it home, used it once, and the fan was making a noise. After taking it apart to fix it. My auger stopped working. Another call to customer service, new auger, then the motherboard, then they wanted pictures of the motherboard wiring. Called the store, and the manager says, and I quote, "the only reason we would take it back is if it wasn't used and it didn't fit on your patio, otherwise, you're on your own." So between the seller removing any responsibility from themselves and pitboss making me a level III service tech I have a 550 dollar paper weight in my back yard. If you are thinking of buying this product or any grill product from Academy ....DON'T... Way to go Pitboss and Academy.
