- CHCorey HodnettNov 28, 20251.0I ordered a punching bag and stand from academy yesterday. They both showed in stock and ready for pickup today. This morning I get a message stating the stand is not in stock now and gave me the options of driving to another store or pushing my pick up day to dec 3rd. I should have been offered a comparable item for pickup today. I’m tired of companies doing this for online orders. Don’t show it to be there if it isn’t. Update- spoke with store manager. She admitted the system isn’t accurate and when you place an order for a pickup date it’s just on hold. Meaning someone else’s order could go before yours or someone can come physically buy the item you reserved.

Went there today and only 1 cashier was working. She was doing returns. We were in the line at least 15 minutes. I went and asked Maam do you have anymore cashiers since you're doing returns. Her reply was I needed to be patient very rudely and went back doing returns. I just put the stuff down and left. I'll be spending my money at Brass Pro for now on. This is the second time I have dealt with this rude employee. Come to find out she was some kind of manager there and that's how she treats customers. She needs to be fired.

Manager is also no help and overall wasted my time entirely. Would not recommend buying anything in general unless you’ve got 2 hours to stand in line up front. Better off going to Ally outdoors
