Now, I have encountered nothing but accurate prices and friendly employees. Thank you for the merchandise you carry, the prices you offer, and the overal employee engagement.

We were waiting for her to send us the receipt so I decided to try to return without a receipt instead. They were offering 75%-90% off of the prices of the items in store credit. Obviously that was not an option, so I mentioned that it was fine and I’ll wait for my MIL to send the receipt, but they lady was already talking over me and saying that they only accept the physical receipt in store and Academy is extremely tight on returns. So 60 day return policy, if you lose your receipt or your MIL forgets to hand it to you you’re screwed. We will be getting the receipt today but returning the items back to her card, we will not be shopping at Academy anymore when there’s better competitors like Dick’s and Bass pro shops.

They refused to take it back and said I had to wait 24 hours after purchase. I’ve never heard of such a policy anywhere in my life. On top of that, the staff was rude and disrespectful, hiding behind “store policy.” I honestly recommend anyone to shop somewhere else.
