I was using a combination of a gift card and 20$ cash to purchase my item. The total came to 108$. She initially use the entire 20 and gave me change back on my gift card which would have bought me much and likelihood of me returning to the store anytime soon is nearly zero. When I let her know I wanted the entire gift card used and the 20 use for the remaining balance... At first she got all flustered and acted as if she didn't want to do it at academy. She was a young girl and whereas I could have made a huge argument I kept my mouth shut I loved my sneakers and I wanted to go home.
