Since 1913 Prada has been synonymous with cutting-edge style. His intellectual universe unites concept, structure and image, through codes that go beyond trends. His fashion transcends the product: it is the translation of the conceptual into a universe that becomes a point of reference for those who love to experiment, challenging conventions.
This is not the experience you’d want to have at a Prada store.
I went to try on and purchase a pair of loafers I had seen online. When I entered the store two sales associates were talking to each other. I looked at them to see if anyone is going to welcome me or try to help. The guy finally did. I didn’t feel they were really happy about my presence interrupting their conversation. I asked to try on the loafers. He said that he will bring my size and asked me to have a seat. I waited for about 10-15 minutes. No one brought the shoes. No one even checked up on me or came to let me know that it might take a while. So I left. I really hope the managers read this review because you need to know that your associates just cost you a sale and I assume it wouldn’t be their first time. They are not mere sales associates, they are the face of the brand. This is not what you expect from PRADA! I do hope you spend some time training your associates or just replace them with professionals who are aware of the responsibilities that come with this job. I won’t buy this brand from Houston anymore.

If you’re a person of color they’ll do their best to not let you in. Stopped by the mall today to make a huge purchase. It was more workers than it was customers inside. 1 customer to be exact. The rude doorman told me they only let paying customers in. I’m not sure if he said it based off an assumption but just because I’m African American doesn’t mean I’m not a paying customer. I stood outside the door for close to 10 minutes without being let in. Took my money to Louis Vuitton because clearly the Prada workers didn’t want to make a sale. Said we live in a society where stores treat you like trash because the color of your skin. I will never give Prada another dime with this type of customer service. Stay away from Prada inside of the galleria mall!

I’ve made a couple purchases here, and so far I’ve felt very, very welcomed. The SA’s are very classy and polite, and their demeanor isn’t judgmental at all, like in other nearby luxury stores (to my experience). I haven’t dealt with repairs or returns, let’s hope it keeps being good. Kudos to them!
