  My friend and I stopped in yesterday hoping to find a good pair of jeans. We were both blown away by the customer service provided by Sofia in the fitting rooms! My friend and I are short and curvy so it can be hard to find jeans that fit us right. We had to have tried on over a dozen jeans that day across stores. We were tired and hungry, but Sofia kept the jeans coming until we both found pairs we liked! I just wanted to shoutout AE management for hiring Sofia. She is EXACTLY the kind of person that should be working in retail and compensated well for her excellent service to customers. Also, the cashier that was working that day (who I believe is a manager) was also so friendly and efficient. Thank you American Eagle at Tanger FW for an incredible shopping experience! I hope you’ll continue to hire people that make folks actually want to shop in-store instead of just online!

  Best experience I’ve had while shopping in a very long time. Megan was EXTREMELY helpful and polite the entire time. Honestly that girl should be in management if not already!

  The store is always messy, they always charge things wrong or will have things in clearance and claim they don’t belong there, false advertisement they won’t honor. The managers are a bunch of young girls who have no respect whatsoever and are never willing to help, only once has a cashier been nice I wish I could remember her name. Went on Sunday and the cashier seemed to be annoyed we were asking her prices because once again everything is marked wrong or they’ll ring it up wrong! If you can order online or go to another store. This one is messy, never has anything and the customer service is non existent

  Shoutout to Megan at American Eagle! She seriously made my whole jean shopping experience a breeze. You can tell she knows her stuff, she helped me find the perfect fit without making it overwhelming! Honestly, she does her job SO well. If you ever shop there, find Megan. She’s a gem.

  My first time in this store for school shopping. We were immediately greeted upon walking in the door. We had no idea of what size my child would need. As we were browsing and picking up shirts, a young lady came by and handed my daughter a bag to put her items in to make her shopping experience much easier. I really appreciated that. As we continued to shop, a young lady by the name of Clarissa came by and asked what my daughter was looking for, and basically took her around the store showing her so many options and styles. We got a dressing room and Clarissa made sure to come back and check every so often to make sure we didn’t need anything. However, there was another helpful young lady in the dressing room named Kadence! She kept the dressing room in order and if we needed another size before Clarissa came back, she went and grabbed it. Loved my experience. However, when we got to the register to pay, I explained to the young lady, name I didn’t get, that I had just opened an account and wanted to use my 30% off along with my gift card I had received from next door at Aeries due to them incorrectly charging my account without the 30%. The young lady seemed to understand but took by shopping pass and scanned it and charged my account. Her response was oh it went through. I told her, that’s not what I asked you to do, plus you didn’t take off the 30%. So the mgr had to return the items in order to issue me a gift card for the 30% difference. Overall everything was great until it came down to paying for my items. The store has great clothes that my teen loved! I just wish that the cashiers would listen instead of just going through the motions.
