I stopped by recently since I had a doctor’s appointment nearby, but it’s been about a year since my last visit. I was honestly appalled by the prices. Some of the items were marked so high it was almost comical. It’s disappointing to see how much has changed. A bamboo steamer was priced at $25 but you can get one brand new at Target for $19.99. A decorative Hobby Lobby scale priced at $18. I even saw a basic table top Christmas tree for $15. Updated to respond to GW 11/7/25: I truly value the mission of helping others, but I think high prices can unintentionally work against that goal. When USED items cost more than NEW ones, it makes it difficult for those in need to shop affordably. As someone in need, I also shop at thrift stores to save money while supporting local causes. There are many other thrift stores that do the same important work and still keep their prices affordable, and I would encourage people in a similar situation as me to explore OTHER options.
