- RRRoberto1 day ago1.0The customer care in this store is dreadful. The gun department is completely incompetent to the point of public concern. They have very poor organization and lack training. They called me to come pick up a firearm only to find out when I got to the store that they lost part of my gun purchase paper work and didn't print my approved background check number. because why would they do their job, right?. Then asked to start a new application that locked me in their own system because "they didn't know it was going to do that". Absurd. I have never seen a less capable team in my life. Whoever is managing this store needs to be seriously looked into asap. If I was in charge of oversight for Academy stores, I would not be able to sleep knowing the way things are handled at this store. DO NOT PURCHASE Guns from this store.

- NWN WNov 7, 20251.0Customer service in this store is an absolute travesty. I spoke to the store manager a few days ago. He’s new in the store, and they’ve had a negative culture for years. The manager was polite and very concerned about the poor customer service I received from Carson at the gun counter. After waiting more than 5 minutes to be acknowledged, I suggested to the associates (Carson) that it really doesn’t take much. “I’ll be right with you,” or “hello, sir…be with you in just a moment” would go along way. In the most crude way, Carson told me he had other things to do and that he was trying to put away a shipment that had come in on a truck. Pathetic. I was back there today. A different associate at the gun counter never looked up from his phone, and never acknowledged my presence. Good luck getting any hep in this store, especially at the gun counter.
