I walked into the Polo store at the Tanger Outlets near Pittsburgh hoping to grab a jacket or coat since I just flew in from Texas and didn’t pack for the cooler weather. Unfortunately, my visit was disappointing from the moment I stepped inside. Every customer who entered after me was greeted — except me. I walked around the store for five to ten minutes, clearly looking for help, but every employee seemed to avoid eye contact and offered no greeting or assistance. I understand everyone can have an off day, but this wasn’t a good look for a brand like Polo. I mean, seriously, they were ignoring me so much I was able to snap photos of them, ignoring me without them seeing me do it! I’m not jumping to conclusions about why I was ignored, but it definitely left a bad impression. At minimum, it was poor customer service, and it’s enough to make me think twice before visiting this location again.
