Our shop services are available to spool reels, mount and boresight rifle scopes, cut arrows, tune bows in our 20-yard archery lane, and anything covered by your Firearm Service Plan. - PFPhillip FennDec 26, 20251.0I have never been treated so poorly or inconsistently anywhere. I commute by bicycle. I need a backpack for my bike lock and extra gear. I was treated differently 4 different times. First, I was welcomed into the store. Then I was confronted and told I couldn't shop with a backpack. I explained my necessity to have my bag. It was communicated that they were only trying to keep the homeless out, and motorcyclists and bicyclists were allowed to have backpacks, and I was allowed to shop that time. I spent an hour in the store with my backpack in my shopping cart. I returned a week later to return a pair of new boots that didn't fit and a faulty headlamp. I had a backpack with me. A man who recognized me from the previous week welcomed me. A woman helped me. Allowing me to exchange the headlamp. She helped me return the boots. She handed me my receipt with a look on her face that made me so uncomfortable, dangling it in the air like I was dirty and she was repulsed. I grabbed a shopping cart. Removed my backpack and a layer because I was warm from biking. She started to explain I wasn't welcome to shop with my backpack. I explained the four different ways I had been treated. I explained the previous trip and I was allowed to shop because they were only trying to keep homeless people out and that the previous person told me motorcyclists and bicyclists were allowed a backpack. She was mean and rude and refused to allow me in the store after she had already helped me. I have never been so uncomfortable. I have never been treated so poorly. I informed the store. They sent me a long series of useless emails and claimed they would do something about the policy. They claimed they would do something about the way I was treated. I am not comfortable with the inconsistency and the way that specific woman treated me.

I've purchased guns from Cabela's and Sportsman's, and the background check alone is worth the one hour drive to Eugene to go to Cabelas. I've had two background checks at Sportsman's over the past two weeks and was never told how long it would take until 20 minutes went by and I took the initiative to ask. Not the most convenient and kind customer service. Please, look into another background check system or team up with what Cabela's is already doing.
