  Be careful guys, new to Portland, don’t know where a thing is. I saw a security guard and simply asked for directions to the Caines chicken establishment. THE 40ish appearing red headed guard put his head down and angrily barked something which wasn’t decipherable. I asked again, he just mumbled storming a different direction. Please keep in mind this was a friggin MALL SECURITY GAURD.. yeah the one single person whose job is to keep peace and order. Not a good look Pioneer Place. So uncalled for and super unprofessional. He should leave his small man complex at home and be a professional

  What's the point in banking hard on security detail when you aren't selling much of anything besides Cane's?

  It's an okay place if you're looking for high-end fashion or chicken fingers although it just has an odd feel.

  I've been to pioneer place a number of times but recently it seems all but the exclusively high-end shops have shut down and they all have very large intimidating, looking individuals standing outside and most of the shops and restaurants have closed and it just felt really..... Class warfare in real time like...... Because on the other side of the mall is where h&m and other eating places and "lower end" shops were all on the opposite side once you crossed over the sky bridge. I don't know. It was not a positive shopping experience and I just ran in to pick up my raising Cane's order for the super bowl. So what's it like on another day? Really wouldn't spend my money there as it was uncomfortable and classist and that's just not my vibe.
