    October 2025 — Disappointed in Michael Kors: No Customer Support for Their Own Product I used to absolutely love Michael Kors — but after my recent experience, I won’t be shopping with them again. I bought a beautiful Michael Kors watch from Winners, brand new with tags and packaging. It was slightly too big, so I brought it to the Michael Kors store at Yorkdale, simply asking if they could remove a link to help it fit better. Even though the watch was clearly theirs, with brand labels and stickers intact, the associate refused to help because I didn’t buy it at their specific location. I explained I wasn’t asking for a return or repair — just a basic adjustment — but they still declined, citing liability concerns in case of damage. Frankly, it felt like a poor excuse and a clear message that they don’t stand behind their own products. Here’s the kicker: I walked into Peoples Jewellers right after, and without hesitation, they happily adjusted the band for me — no receipt, no issue, just good customer service. That’s the difference between a brand that values people and one that doesn’t. Michael Kors lost a loyal customer that day. I’ll be taking my business to brands like Peoples that still understand the meaning of service.
