During my visit, I observed a customer being treated in a dismissive and degrading manner based solely on their appearance and an apparent assumption that they lacked the financial means to make a purchase. The staff’s tone, lack of courtesy, and visible disinterest were inappropriate and inconsistent with the standards expected of a professional retail establishment—particularly one representing a luxury brand.
Making judgments about a customer’s purchasing ability based on appearance is not only unfair, but also deeply concerning. Every individual who enters your store deserves to be treated with respect, professionalism, and equal consideration, regardless of how they look or how much staff assume they may spend.
This experience left a negative impression and raises serious concerns about staff training, bias awareness, and customer service standards within your store. I hope this matter is taken seriously and addressed internally to ensure all customers are treated with dignity and respect going forward.

The overall experience at this location was poor—nearly as disappointing as my experiences at their other location.
The Rolex boutique, in particular, is staffed by salespeople who appear disengaged and uninterested. I want to specifically mention an employee named Adam. On several occasions, I dealt with him while he was visibly distracted and inattentive. The staff are not knowledgeable, and it feels as though their primary role is to push slow-moving, undesirable pieces—watches that sit untouched in display cases, sold purely to customers chasing the name rather than the watch itself.
There was never any meaningful discussion about movements, finishing, or materials. It was made very clear that they are salespeople first—not watch people. The attitude is essentially: buy what’s offered or move along.
What’s particularly frustrating is that the moment you inquire about other models, the tone shifts. Staff become defensive and dismissive, falling back on the usual talking points about vague waitlists and the (ARTIFICIAL) scarcity dilemma they like to push. The underlying message is clear: you must “earn” the right to spend your money. Genuine interest in watches is not welcome—only compliance and spending.
I did have one positive experience with a staff member named Jen, and it was because of her that I spent five figures here. When I later attempted to reconnect with her simply to express my appreciation, I was told she was no longer available to me and that I would now deal exclusively with this Adam character. From that point on, communication deteriorated—text messages went unanswered for days, responses were slow or nonexistent, and models were perpetually “unavailable,” unless, of course, they were offered in gold and diamonds.
This appears to be their standard business practice.
I also can’t ignore what I witnessed on multiple occasions—customers moving in and out of back rooms freely, leaving with multiple watches. It raises legitimate questions about how this store chooses to allocate and sell its inventory.
For anyone who genuinely appreciates horology—whether you’re a collector, an enthusiast, or simply someone looking for a watch to cherish for life—this place will be deeply frustrating. The focus here is not passion, knowledge, or long-term relationships. It’s about selling status, begging, and exclusivity to those willing to play along.
The good news is that there are many other excellent authorized dealers across Ontario. I found one. Transparent, honest, and respectful—no games, no nonsense. I was treated like a human being, not a transaction, and I received the watch I had dreamed of without having to bow, sacrifice my dignity or waste years.
As a final note, their in-house design services were also underwhelming. Despite providing very detailed specifications—including stone weights and design requirements—they struggled to execute or even confidently commit to certain elements. The experience fell well short of expectations. Combined with everything else, it was enough for me to walk away.
I have since worked with another AD and had my ring completed exactly as envisioned along with acquiring two other watches I actually wanted.
It’s a shame. I truly wanted this store to be the one for various reasons. Unfortunately, they squandered that opportunity.

We have had an amazing experience working with Raffi Jewellers out of the flag ship Cambridge location. We originally had a family diamond ringing rebuilt and cleaned by the onsite staff. It really meant a lot that all the work was done on site so our ring wouldn’t be shipped off site.
The whole staff is amazing and made a special effort to remember your name and offer you a coffee or a water.
Then came time for me to buy an engagement ring and we worked with Angela Singh. We casually looked at rings together and Angela took great notes so when I went back to pick out the actual ring , she had the exact type and size noted on our file. My now fiancé was blown away by the custom ring that the Raffi team created.
We just returned this week and bought our wedding bands and Angela was great to listen to what we wanted and steer us to the perfect rings.
Nothing but great things to say about the entire Raffi experience. We highly recommend them. My next purchase will be Omega or Tudor watch!!
