- CBChe BFeb 15, 20251.0I bought a coat from the brand Zegna where the hidden metallic buttons damaged the exterior fabric by rubbing against it. There was a clear design flaw that could only result in this unavoidable situation. I reached out to Zegna's customer service team who showed no accountability by referring to this situation as a "natural outcome after extended use". This issue started a couple of years after purchase and got worse over time even though I have been rotating between 4 coats in the winter (all others from different brands with no issues whatsoever regardless of age). Very disappointing by Zegna especially given the price tag for their products. More focus on quality / durability and less on story telling / marketing would help but I am definitely not buying anything from them again
