- COCody ONov 12, 20252.0I would give you a 4 star but your curb side ordering requires you to walk inside the store after waiting in the designated parking area that has 3 signs for 1 parking space. I walked in thinking they were busy but saw 5 to 6 employees hanging out by their registers with no customers in sight. I then had to wait even more time for them to get the order from their back storage area. The order 3:41PM. I received a notification stating that it was ready at 4:20PM. I notified the store that I was parked then walked in about 10 minutes later (around 6:00PM). What happened? 🤷🏾😬

- JVJames VernonAug 21, 20253.0I walked in yesterday and noticed the selection of Costa Sunglasses wasn’t that great. They had no wrap arounds which is what I was in the market for. I asked the young lady right there behind the glass casing if this was all they had on Costa’s? She replied “yep!” Not rude or anything but certainly giving off vibes she wasn’t in the mood to immediately help me. I proceeded to check out the Oakleys which is a great second option for me but she stood right there looking the other way, totally reluctant to acknowledge me. She wasn’t doing anything and wasn’t waiting on other patrons. I stood and stood, hoping I would garner her attention but to no avail. So I walked out and went to Cavenders and dropped $350 on a pair. I have always been a loyal patron to Academy and I will continue to be. I simply wanted to create some awareness to my experience in hopes that upper management will train their employees to acknowledge potential high dollar sales when it’s standing directly in front of them. I believe a person who’s ready to drop $500 bucks on shades is worth the company’s time. I do a lot of business with Academy, I would have even ordered them there in store. But if the associates show no interest in me then I’ll go give my sunshade business to somebody else.
