- HCH ClaspSep 6, 20251.0I usually have a great experience at Academy stores. Recently I had to deal with Dorothy, she is a manager at the Jeff City location. Dorothy is a very nasty individual. I will not be back. If she treats customers like this, how does she treat others? Upper management needs to do something with her. As a business owner myself, I would not keep a person like her, especially in a customer service role.

When I went into the store, not only did they have the item in stock but they had several of the items in stock. I bought the item and they refused to honor the online price. I then spoke to a manager who said if I returned the product I just bought and ordered it online they could have it ready for me in 15 minutes. I went back into the store, attempted to return the item and buy the new one but was met with poor customer service as she refused to help me figure out why the app was saying the wrong dates. In the end I had to pay full price for an item that I could have got for a significantly reduced rate. I will not be going back to the store because of this.
