  extremely rude and unhelpful women in the shoe department. if you’re going to buy expensive shoes, shop elsewhere.

  I wanted to recognize exceptional customer service from Adriana at Nordstrom at Somerset. She saw me carrying some clothes, headed for the dressing room, and came over to help.  She also assisted with zippers and finding styles I might like.  I really appreciate her going above and beyond for me.  Her friendly help and kindness made for a good shopping experience.

  Tuesday night the woman working in the women’s swimsuit section was not helpful and rude. I asked her if Nordstrom had any plus size black swimsuits in stock (Nordstrom has plus sizes online) and she told me that Nordstrom doesn’t sell plus sizes at all. I tried telling her there are plus sizes online and she shook her head like she didn’t believe me. Then she asked me what my size was and I told her. She told me that the swimsuit I showed her only goes up to a size 14 and she asks me “you aren’t a size 14??” when I had just told her my size which is bigger than a 14. Look, if there aren’t any plus size swimsuits in stock, please just tell me and I would go on my way. I’m plus sized, I’m used to hearing it. But being intentionally rude and short is not okay.

  I went in not too long ago to purchase a dress. I did a buy online pick up in store. Shortly after receiving the dress I went to the fitting room to try it on and the bag ripped. Keep in mind this was damn near a $300 dress. When I went to the front desk to kindly ask the black lady for a new bag, she refused. She gave me attitude and didn’t even look me in the eye. I asked her why I can’t get a bag and she goes “u have to purchase something in order to receive a plastic bag “ I told her I just purchased something for $300 I have the receipt and she replied with “I can’t help u”. Keep in mind I have clothes in my hand I’m trying to hold from falling on the floor all I needed was a bag. I took one off the counter anyways as I should because who do u think u are to not give me a 25 cent bag when I just spend over $200 in ur store . She then threatened to call security on me and wouldn’t let me leave the store however I walked out anyways. Security never approached me or anything because they prob laughed in her face when she told them I took a bag off the counter. Really this is how u treat ur customers?? Disgusting and unbelievable. Shame on you guys

  I’m giving 3 stars solely because of Paige at the Lancôme counter inside Nordstrom. She was kind, knowledgeable, and helped me find everything I needed. However, when I went to use a $100 gift card, one given to me by my late mother, I was told my gift card was locked. Paige handed the phone, and a customer service rep stated there was a hold on it and I would need to wait over an hour to use it. A $100 gift card, thats it. That was extremely disappointing and inconvenient. Paige did everything she could and handled the situation beautifully. The issue was not with her, but with how customer service managed the gift card.
