- CBC BNov 4, 20251.0Completely screwed me over. wanted to buy a pair of shoes, decided the price was worth waiting in the absolutely massive line, then when i got to the register it rang up as a different item. someone mislabeled the shoes, and then they didn’t honor the price that they set it at as their own mistake. they pretty much just said “yup, you drove here during lunch, spent 30 minutes in line, and now you actually can’t buy them” the label that was on the shoe said they were $80, but the actual price was $120 and that’s not the price that i waited in line for. no apology, no checking to see of another pair was labeled similarly, nothing. they just said “there are so many shoes back there we do this all the time” then ripped the label off and told me have a nice day. i rarely leave reviews for places, but they just don’t care at all here and i will no longer come back for any reason now.

One pair had multiple price tags of 49.99 so I was excited for such a great deal. They rang up as $110. The cashier called for a manager. The manager said she would investigate the discrepancy and walked away with the shoes. A few minutes later she yelled out that the shoes were for "Nordstrom store" and proceeded to toss the shoes on the back counter. The cashier informed me that I couldn't purchase them, and would possibly be able to hunt them down at a different store once they were sent back to wherever they belonged. That I was denied this purchase was absolutely insane and honestly stung a little. I've never encountered such an absurd explanation. I really loved the shoes as they were a beautiful pink color and that was the only pair in my size. Unbelievable that the manager so heartlessly disregarded me as a customer and essentially confiscated the item I chose to buy. I did buy the other pair without issue and that gets this experience 1 star.
