I never leave reviews however I have not be able to forget this experience. I visited this Bass Pro location two days before Christmas with my boyfriend for some last minute gifts. We waited in line for about 15 minutes. They only had one register open. When I finally reached the register, I was met by one of the least pleasant employees I’ve ever encountered. She grabbed my item without saying a word. She never looked at me once, never smiled, and showed a complete lack of basic customer service skills. She never said hello or greeted us, just randomly demanded my ID in an extremely rude tone.
When my card declined, she raised her voice and said, “It’s because you took your card out too fast,”, then put her palm in her face, followed by a scoff, which was embarrassing and unnecessary—especially since the issue was simply that I entered the wrong PIN.
As I was leaving, I politely said I didn’t want a bag because I already had one. She responded in an extremely rude and aggressive tone, saying, “This is legally a weapon, you need to have a bag. You’re entering the mall”, and gave it to me. There was no “have a good day,” no “Merry Christmas,” nothing. She never once smiled or even looked at us. Never greeted us at all. Not sure how she got a job here. All the other employees were extremely friendly and helpful, except for her.
I left embarrassed not wanting to come back. I’ve been here plenty of times and never had any issues. She embarrassed me in front of a massive line and her attitude ruined my day. I’ve never met a worker so rude and miserable. She sighed the whole experience as if we were bothering her. My boyfriend and I were both appalled by her attitude. I expected professionalism and basic kindness. Instead, this interaction left me feeling embarrassed and completely ruined my holiday spirit. Very disappointing experience. Didn’t catch a name but she was dirty blonde heavier and around 20. Very entitled and rude girl.

What is not to LOVE about the best store in the world!! Its HUGE and has everything you could ever want for the outdoors and fishing and hunting!! The store a week before Christmas was very clean, no little pieces of garbage all around like in the hallways of the mall, everything was nice and neat on the shelves and racks and employees are all over if you have any questions or need help. The stock was all out and no need to ask anyone to look in back for anything.
You could be in the store all day long and still not see everything in there. I've been here more than 10 times and will be back 20 times more.

Matched in the spot and was told that it was not the correct item but wouldn’t honor the price even though there were multiple there. But have also have called been told something was there to get there and they have had the item for weeks. So for now on I’ll take my businesses where

I looked online first to make sure that the product I was searching for was available in the store. I drove forty five minutes one way to find out that the pair of boots I wanted they only had one size left and one pair left. I wish cabelas would have posted a pop up on their website letting me the customer know that they only have one size and one pair of those certain boots left in stock. When I ask for help in the men's boot section, I waited around for at least 15 minutes until somebody could help me. I constantly saw multiple workers walking around talking, not doing anything while I'm standing waiting. Cabelas has really gone downhill with their customer service. I won't be spending any more of my money at cabela's anymore. Instead, I'll focus on the smaller retailers. If you really want the best of everything go to Northwoodsoutlet in Pinconning. Don't even bother wasting your time coming to the cabela's at great lakes crossing
