A few employees working tonight (11/23/25) were completely disrespectful and rude as all get out. About 20 people got locked in the store and were forced to walk in the cold. A simple announcement 5 mins before closing would have been nice or something. Apparently, an announcement was made but 20 other people didn’t hear it either… I get it is store policy, but sarcasm is not necessary. One employee was a complete jerk and I hope the manager talked to them.

You walk in and get bombarded by a vacation salesman every time which is highly annoying. The management and other staff is very rude and acts like they are better than you. Pretty sure they must not have children or an empathetic bone in their body..either way, whatever their store policies are, they could at least be kind about it. Instead of acting immature and disrespectful in front of paying customers, and multiple families with small children. Uncalled for and embarrassing for them to be so rude.

We went to Bass Pro in Auburn Hills to make a return from a gift received from an online purchase. First, we waited in line for at lease 20 minutes, the 1 employee working would go from computer to computer, not sure why Bass Pro employees don't have what they need all on 1 computer. Second, after waiting too long in line, Bass Pro would not make the refund because we did not have the credit card used to make this gift purchase with us, we offered a different Mastercard and was told that was not allowed. A store credit was offered but we wanted the credit card used credited. When making a return at the majority of retailers we shop at, they process the refund to the credit card used, WITHOUT having to insert or tap that credit card. Not sure why Bass Pro makes returns to challenging. Bass Pro is in dire need of updating/improving the return process at their stores!

Went in to look at firearms, was told we needed to check in so we did, people kept cutting in line and the bass workers let it happen 3 times, two people by us were not asked for ID. When my husband asked why because the two others were not asked and stated we had never be asked before the Bass workers stated we don’t have to do this if you’re going to have an attitude. Excuse me. I said we don’t have an attitude. Just a question to why we are being asked but no one else was. After we waited 45 minutes and three people cute in line you want to treat me like that. I grabbed my husband’s ID and we left.

Don't recommend buying any archery products from Bass Pro and instead recommend buying them from a more local archery shop that does in house/certificated repairs for the bow/crossbow you are buying. Story time: Bought a Rampage XS by Tenpoint with Pro-View 400 scope back in March 2025 and sighted it in right at BassPro with their 20 yard indoor archery range. Thought everything was great, but then I later found when fine tuning it at 40, 50 yards as directed by the sighting directions. The arrows were dropping way more than then they should be. 6-8 inches off at 50 yards, which both me and my dad thought was odd. We understood that each line of the multi line scope would not be necessarily dead on but that was quite a drop. So I took it to an authorized TenPoint repair shop, since Bass Pro does not do in house repairs, and found out the bow was shooting at 340fps when the scope was rated for 400fps and the crossbow was listed as 390fps on BassPros website (Tenpoints own website lists it as "up to 390fps" with the provided arrows). The repair shop tweaked the string and were able to get it to 350fps but could not tweak the string more since it was in line with the cam/speed markers on the limbs. So they called Tenpoint Warranty and warranty agreed to try replacing the limbs, but same issue after and Tenpoint unfortunately would not do more. Ultimately I will need to sight it in a couple inches high at 20 yards to make the other lines on the multiple line scope more on target. Just disappointed as the crossbow is advertised with speeds up to 380-390fps and the speed I actually got is much lower than that. Other Tenpoint products may be worth it but again I don't' recommend this model, or buying from Bass Pro.
