My husband and I retired to Maine a few years ago, and I was looking forward to checking out this store. The shopping center this store is in isn’t exactly known for being well-kept — many of the stores, especially the Target nearby, are often messy. To its credit, this Nordstrom Rack was a little cleaner and more organized. However, my disappointment comes from their unclear return policies. I purchased four items, one of which was a clearance piece I didn’t get a chance to try on. Unfortunately, it didn’t fit — and now I’m stuck with it since clearance items apparently can’t be returned. I also tried to return a lipstick I never opened or used. The sales associate told me they “usually” have signs saying beauty items can’t be returned, but that those signs were taken down for the holidays. 🤔🙄 That excuse made no sense. If signs are down, then employees should at least inform customers that those items are non-refundable. This experience reminded me why I haven’t shopped at Nordstrom Rack in years — their return policies are confusing and poorly communicated. There are plenty of other stores that offer better quality and customer service, so I won’t be returning to this one again.

Plenty of other workers in the store, but management did not call any up to help. Once I did check out, the person helping me was very nice, but the wait was unnecessary.
