The customer happened to be a woman of color — her skin maybe two shades darker than mine — and she wasn’t doing anything remotely suspicious. Just trying on jackets like a normal person enjoying her shopping trip. The implication was loud and clear: they assumed she might steal because of how she looked. It wasn’t subtle, and it definitely wasn’t a good look for Nordstrom Rack. Honestly, the energy was very Stepford Security Squad — all blonde, all beige, and apparently all clairvoyant when it comes to who “looks suspicious.” The vibe was basically, “We’ve decided she looks suspicious because she’s not our shade of beige.” In short: the only thing stolen that day was my faith in their professionalism.

Also amazing quality shoes at discount. My nice Hoka gym shoes would be 2X the price anywhere else. Also decent kids clothes. Got my 2 year old daughter a bunch of nice Nike and Adidas leggings, shorts, t skirts, soft zip up fleece and wind breaker. Also great for quality belts and decent sunglasses that don’t cost a fortune.

I am surprised how this is Nordstrom rack is now.. they sell you items in the same condition you want to return them and don't take them back. That is really sad and terrible me and my family/friends promised we will not be coming back here anymore after being a longtime customers because of how the return policies horrible and I don't have any trust left in Nordstrom... you definitely lost more than one customer!
