  Went to return a Christmas present today. The cashier spent the whole time making me feel bad for returning a gift from my mom. She went as far and to try on my stuff in front of me saying “Why would you return this, it’s so cute” and “You’re mom went through all the trouble”. I understand small talk but as a customer I should not be made to feel guilty for simply return something I wouldn’t use.

  I want to pick up an order that was already paid for. before standing in the huge line, I asked one of the people doing checkout.If there is someplace else I could get the order that had already been paid for. they said comma with a sarcastic expression on their face that I had to stand in line. i did so, and then a worker saw me looking at the barcode and said, here come with me.And she brought me right to where I was before, when I asked if I could just pick up the item and she gave it to me. so thanks to that woman who went out of her way to help me and who the heck are, those people that just blew me off at the outset and made me stand in line, unnecessarily.

  I had an uncomfortable return experience at this Nordstrom Rack location. This was an online order. At home, I only took one shoe out to try it on and did not fully inspect the pair because I immediately knew they were not for me. When I brought the item to the store to return it, the sales associate noticed that one strap was missing and asked me where it was. I was genuinely surprised and explained that I did not know and that the sandals must have arrived that way. The associate then called a manager, who asked me the same question. . I could not provide any additional answer, as I truly did not know. The way they looked at each other made me feel very uncomfortable, as if I was not being believed. Although the return was eventually processed, there was no explanation that this was standard procedure, no apology for the inconvenience, and no effort to make the situation feel respectful. I left the store feeling blamed for something that was clearly a packing or fulfillment issue. There would be no reason for me to keep a single strap, and it was upsetting to feel as though I was being treated as if I had done something wrong. I understand that returns need to be verified, but clearer communication and a more empathetic approach would have made a significant difference.

  I’m very disappointed with this return experience. I received the shoes last week and tried them on indoors only to check the fit. Unfortunately, they were too tight, so I returned them within the return window. My return was denied with the claim that the shoes were “worn,” which is not true. They were never worn outside and were returned in the same condition as received. This feels unfair and very frustrating, especially for a simple fit issue. I expected better customer service and a proper review of my return.

  "I absolutely love shopping at Nordstrom Rack—the selection of designer brands at discounted prices is unbeatable, and I always find great deals on clothes, shoes, and accessories. The store is well-organized and stocked with quality items. That said, the checkout lines today were incredibly long (wrapping around the store!), which made it tough to enjoy the experience fully. I'll definitely be back, but probably on a weekday morning to avoid the crowds. Overall, still one of my favorite spots for bargain hunting!
