Huge store. Great decor for any hunting or sports enthusiasts. However, BAD customer service. No greetings. I was looking for a specific item. A Chris Janson Bass Pro hat. It has his signature on it and name. I asked an employee in the very next department. She said doesn't know anything about that area that there "should" be someone in that area. There wasn't or I would have asked. She then directed me to the service desk. I asked her there for the Chris Janson Bass Pro hat. She didn't know anything about him or the hat. So THEN, I tried online. Kept directing me to the wrong store. Kept putting in East Peoria, Illinois. FINALLY, it stayed. It said out of stock. For such a huge store they should have either an app, the website or a computer in the store to tell you IF or where something is. Since the employees don't know. I guess I'll have to check to get it over the internet.

Bass Pro Shops is not just a great place to shop—it’s also a fun destination to visit with family and friends. The store feels more like an attraction than a regular retail outlet.
One of the highlights is the aquarium, along with displays of different animals and birds, including turkeys and other birds flying around, which makes the experience especially enjoyable for kids. It truly feels like stepping into an outdoor-themed museum.
They also have a gun shooting area, where you can try shooting for an affordable price—about 25 rounds for just 50 cents, which is a unique and exciting experience for first-time visitors.
The store offers a huge selection of gear, including guns, boats, fishing equipment, hunting supplies, and outdoor accessories. Whether you’re an outdoor enthusiast or just browsing, there’s a lot to see and explore.
Overall, it’s a great place for shopping, sightseeing, and spending time, even if you don’t plan to buy anything. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the Peoria area.

Extremely disappointed and upset by our Santa experience. We waited in line for over 30 minutes and were already more than halfway through when we were abruptly told that walk-ins were not being accepted. This came as a shock, especially since we had spoken with another employee at the back of the line who gave no indication this would be an issue. To make things worse, the website clearly states that walk-ins are accommodated.
The way this was handled was incredibly frustrating and honestly heartbreaking for a family experience that’s supposed to be magical. The employee who delivered the news was unprofessional and lacked any empathy, which completely ruined the moment. We left the store feeling dismissed and disappointed and would absolutely not recommend this experience to other families.

Rude Santa. I was told to go to the other side of the Photo Booth with my cart by the photographer. My kids were getting situated to take a picture with my husbands help. Santa said something my husband and I didn’t initially hear (the place is extremely loud) and when he repeated himself he was extremely rude. He was telling us to go to the opposite side of the camera then where I was told to be. When we didn’t get close enough to the camera for our kids to look at us instantly he was condescending and rude laughing at us like we were stupid. Merry Christmas to us. The process was nice and smooth up to that point but why be rude.

Approximately 10/17/22 I bought a 4 wheeler with the snow package. The plow has cheap metal hooks that bend easy. And the plow has constantly fell off while plowing snow. I've had to replace the relase hooks about a year after buying it which aren't cheap. the hooks keep sliding off the ends of the pins it hooks onto. They told me to weld metal washers on the ends to keep it from falling off. Not to mention that when the plow falls off, it could swing under a front wheel and cause you to flip it. It's like they don't care anymore once they take your money and get you out the door. If nothing is done, I'm filing a complaint with the FTC, BBB, and Consumer Protection. Also 1 of the salesman told me that this was a problem for others as well.
