- HHHuntingtonDec 27, 20254.0I absolutely love Boise Army Navy, I have been going here for solid surplus kit for almost 30 years but sadly I had my first negative experience today. The staff were wonderful and extremely helpful, no issue at all in that regard. My issue is with the medical supplies they stock, particularly the CAT tourniquets they sell are absolutely fake. This is a massive safety hazard and has the dangerous potential of killing someone who would otherwise be saved by a legitimate CAT tourniquet. I know a lot of the gear sold at surplus stores is cheap Chineseium airsoft level gear, but I’m very disappointed that the Boise Army Navy sells fake medical gear. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt that they are unaware that they stock ripoff/fake tourniquets, but we will see.
