- JCJay ColonSep 27, 20251.0I had a very disappointing experience at this store. I was trying on a dress and asked an employee if my husband could come into the hallway with me to help zip up my dress, since it was just the two of us. She said yes at first. Shortly after, another man was also in the hallway helping the woman he was with. A few minutes later, the employee returned and told us that her manager said men weren’t allowed in the hallway unless they were trying on clothes themselves—which makes no sense, as this is a women’s clothing store. It felt unfair and sexist, especially since women were allowed to stand in the hallway and help each other with zippers, but men were not. The men were not inside the fitting rooms, just in the hallway on the opposite side of the curtains, so there was no privacy issue. Because of this policy, I wasn’t able to try on any dresses, as I didn’t have anyone to help me with the zipper. The employee didn’t offer any alternative or assistance, and I found her attitude rude and unhelpful. Overall, I left feeling frustrated and unwelcome. I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this store to others.
