  Very disappointed with my experience at Sporting Life Hillcrest. I previously visited the store regarding a helmet that injured my child — his head was bleeding while wearing it. At that time, a staff member told me to simply bring the helmet back and they would take care of it. Today, when I returned with the helmet, the cashier called over a manager who suddenly said they could not process the return because I no longer had the box. I explained again that this was a child safety issue, not a regular “change of mind” return. The manager responded that unless “many people” reported the same issue, they would not consider it a quality problem, and told me to contact the brand myself. Only after arguing was I reluctantly offered store credit. What disappointed me most was not even the policy itself, but the complete lack of empathy and accountability regarding a product that caused a child injury. The inconsistency between what I was originally told and how I was treated today was frustrating and unprofessional.

  Went to buy a bike this afternoon. Charlie in the bike section was amazing in helping us find a bike that was fit for our 5 year old and ensuring that our bike was road ready upon purchase. Would recommend the team at Sporting Life for their service and expertise.

  Had a fantastic experience with Andrew in the service shop (and multiple other kind, knowledgeable, and helpful team members). I'm new to triathlon biking and Andrew and the team not only helped me get my bike road ready but also offered much appreciated unsolicited advice and helped orient me to my bike. It's not often you feel genuinely grateful after a retail experience. Thanks so much everyone. I'll definitely bring my bike back when it needs servicing/upgrades.

  Nancy from sporting Life (Hillcrest Mall) went over and above to help me with my outfit!! I give her a 10 out of 10 rating! She was so kind and patient! JJ helped me with my return so I could purchase my new outfit! He was also very kind and patient! 10 out of 10 as well! It was a pleasure shopping in your store today! Thank you!

  I never review places every mainly because I think every store I visit does just as much as they should but my experience today at Sporting life truly was the definition of Customer Care I recently ordered a set of bindings and skis from the Sporting Life e-commerce store and when I received my order everything was either defective or not as hoped. The skis I received were scratched up, no core damage but definitely not brand new, they arrived in a box with no wrap on them. The bindings in the same order were missing a toe and heel piece. This was my first time purchasing brand new ski items so I wasn’t notified of the norm until I went to the Hillcrest Mall Sporting life who notified me that my experience was sub par. They did an amazing job of helping me get my items in the exact condition as the should've been. Really an amazing job by this stores team. They gave me my return in store for the defective bindings and exchanged my skis in store for the exact pair that was brand new. Additionally they offered me a free tune up for the inconvenience. I couldn’t believe the hospitality and support the team offered truly a 10/10 experience in store and 4/10 experience online
