I went in with my boyfriend to purchase scrubs and inquired about the student discount, which I saw advertised online. The cashier, Tracy, asked for student verification, so we provided an academic transcript. She then asked for the name of our school, but when she couldn’t locate it in the system, she simply stated that she couldn’t apply the discount and proceeded to finalize the transaction without offering any further assistance or alternatives. Afterward, we contacted the Gilbert location via phone, where the staff was extremely helpful and courteous. They confirmed that the student discount does apply, and they immediately processed a refund over the phone with the correct 10% discount and didn't give us a hard time. The representative there even apologized for the poor customer service experience we had at the Dobson store. I truly appreciate the excellent customer service provided by the Scrubs & Beyond Gilbert location. However, I hope the Dobson store can improve in terms of professionalism, problem-solving, and customer care, especially when handling something as straightforward as a student discount. If this was a misunderstanding, I hope this can be resolved at this Scrubs & Beyond Dobson location, so future students will also benefit from the student discount that is offered.
