  I am genuinely shocked by the level of rudeness and unprofessional behavior from the customer service staff in Market Mall! The representative I interacted with showed absolutely no basic courtesy, no willingness to help, and certainly no attitude suitable for a customer-facing role.

  It’s a mall. There’s clothing stores and a food court and places that sell smelly bath products. Oh, and an Apple Store… parking is a bit of a pinch, even with The Bay closed, but you have to walk REALLY REALLY far if you are on the north side of the mall. AVOID THIS PLACE ON BOXING DAY because people cannot park.

  I am writing as a regular visitor to share some honest feedback about the atmosphere in the mall, especially during the Christmas season. For a mall of this size, it is really disappointing that there is almost no real Christmas excitement. The decorations are always the same, very plain and repetitive every year. A celebration as important and joyful as Christmas should be given much more attention. Right now, there is no energy, no sense of festivity, and it feels like everything is done just as a basic obligation. Market Mall is a place where many people come to relax, enjoy their time, and make memories. With more creative and exciting decorations, the mall could attract even more visitors. You could even organize a decoration contest for the stores, so that the whole mall is full of energy, color, and a festive atmosphere. I also believe it would be very helpful to reconsider the management of events and decorations. Bringing in a young, motivated person with creativity and artistic vision to manage celebrations and special occasions could make a huge difference and truly transform the mall’s image. In addition, I would like to share some feedback about the security team. It would be reassuring for visitors if the security staff were clearly fit, well-trained, and physically capable of responding quickly in case of theft or any incident. At the moment, many of them do not appear physically prepared for this demanding role. For the safety and confidence of the public, it is important that security staff can effectively protect people and deal with offenders if necessary. Please take this feedback seriously and consider making improvements. Market Mall has great potential to be a much more vibrant, exciting, and safe place for everyone. Thank you for your attention.

  I walk over almost every day, as I only live about a kilometer away in Varsity. I’ll grab breakfast at A&W or at Tim Hortons and then walkbthe mall to get my 10,000 steps a day in. Quite a few seniors like myself doing the same.

  This is a wonderful spot to browse and shop, with an especially delightful feature for families: the children’s play area. It’s not only clean and well-maintained, but also thoughtfully managed there are clear limits on both the number of children allowed at a time and the age range permitted. That kind of structure is so important, and it’s refreshing to see it enforced. It really helps keep the space safe, enjoyable, and stress-free for everyone. And let’s not forget the pretzels absolutely delicious! They’ve become a favorite treat every time we visit.
