The apartments are old and outdated given they was built in the 50s. If you have your own washer and dryer it's a pain because the washer hookup is by the front entry but the dryer hookup is in the back storage building. The central heating and cooling needs updated and replaced because there was a big hole with fiber glass exposed and blowing into my apartment for at least a 1 1/2yrs at times of me finding it. When it was brought to Trish Carey's the property managers attention she told me I would have to pay for it out of my own pocket. I let her know that the hole is their responsibility to fix because it is part of the unit and I did not cause it. I had to call the city twice and it was still not replaced by time I moved out. The sink plumbing kept leaking causing excessive water under the kitchen sink which in turn caused black mold to rapidly grow, maintenance came in and just screwed a board over the rotting old board but before that Trish came to look at it even though she stated she didn't know what she was doing she also tried to "educate me" by saying I can't call mold black mold without having it tested but from my experience that's the type that grows in dark wet places. Also the maintenance is kind but stretched thin and treated horribly by management I had been on the phone with Trish while she was on the other line with maintenance who had made a mistake and entered the wrong apt instead of mine, while on the phone she yelled at him and belittled him it was disgusting to hear someone speak to another person like that over a mistake. She claims she's that way due to bipolar but it's still not an excuse. the property manager Trish is snobby, condescending, loud mouth, rude and will try to tell you how to raise your children and they will end up stupid if homeschooled vs public school. Upon move out make sure to request a walk through so they can let you know what all is expected on how the apt should be left if not expect to be charged close to 1000-2400. the neighbors are okay but nosey with the exception of a few some on drugs and some dealing. Also if you have children I would pick and choose who you let your child play with there because there are some children 8-15 that steal their parents vapes and smoke by the basketball court which was removed because the teenagers kept tearing it up. Also peoples cats would go on the new Playground and use the bathroom a couple times right under the swings.
