Good experience, property management and maintenance are very responsive. Obviously the location is desirable. Only concern was the sound transfer, I was in a lower unit and could hear everything upstairs. Owners should have opted for insulated/sound deadening ceilings and double demising walls before construction.

So far so good but it’s only been a week. We do hear our neighbors walking upstairs. I’m finding I just need to accept it where ever I go. The condo/apartment is very nice. A few odds and ends that need attention but property manger was quick to get me on the repair list for following week and to what worked for me. I love the high ceilings and lay out. They are very well thought out. We’ve met a few neighbors and they’ve all been here a while and they all say they love it here so that says a lot. Our previous place no one had anything nice to say. I’m loving the porch and garage.

Absolutely beautiful!! I lived at Portscape Apartments for two years. My daughter's room had a view of Lake Michigan and my master, great room & balcony had the most beautiful view of the Sheboygan River/Downtown Sheboygan. The staff was helpful, timely and even nice :) It was the kind of community that always gives a wave! I loved it!

I will start with the positives about living here. The location is unbeatable. I could see Lake Michigan right from my balcony, and there are many nice shops & restaurants in walking distance. The actual apartment itself was nice. It has vaulted ceilings, a deep bath tub, and Kohler fixtures. Now for the negatives, which outweigh the positives. While first moving in, I noticed several people moving out. More people moving out than moving in was my first red flag. Then I noticed the apartment had a terrible smell. It doesn't matter how nice a place looks, if it smells bad. The foul odor took the novelty of this place away rather quickly. I contacted maintenance about the issue, and they advised me to pour vegetable oil down the pipe in the laundry room. I had to continue pouring oil down this pipe every few days until it got cold. Then the smell finally went away. The window in my son's room was broken when we moved in. They took an entire 8 months to finally fix it. Never expect a long hot shower at this place. I am all for helping the environment, but from time to time I like to enjoy a long hot shower. While living here I would have to get wet, turn the water off while soaping up, and then turn the water back on to rinse off. This is not exactly my idea of luxury living. We were lucky to have quite neighbors. Even then we could here there television at a normal volume, and talking at a normal volume. I couldn't imagine if we lived next to someone with young children, the noise would have been unbearable. So it's obvious the walls are thin, or they made some shortcuts when it came to insulation. The elementary school zoned to these apartments is awful. It was our main motivator to get out of there. We moved from NC, and we didn't know which schools are good. Our next motivator to move out was the rent increase after our first year. We talked to others in the area, and apparently they raise the rent every year. We now live in a large beautiful house with a great school for less money. After the movers removed are our belongings, I took my time deep cleaning the apartment, and making sure it was in great condition before leaving. I even spackled the holes on the wall left from hanging our family photos. The only thing I was expected to be taken out of our deposit was a small hole of carpet that my pet dug up. Which is completely acceptable. Imagine my shock when we only recieved a $400, and something check out of the 1,500 deposit. Most property managers, and landlords I have dealt with have the common courtesy to give your deposit back when you leave the home in good condition. They don't have the decency. There was a $250 "pet and allergy" fee. That is in addition to the extra $50 pet rent we paid every month for a year. There were charges for non-existent stains on the carpet. There was an $80 stove cleaning charge. They charged for the spackled holes where we hung our pictures, which they are not supposed to do. It went on, and on. Do not expect your deposit back, no matter what condition you leave it in. I wouldn't break your back cleaning it when you leave either. My main points: -You get what you pay for just doesn't ring true here. -People don't like to be taken advantage of. -People don't like greedy hearts. -In a small town like Sheboygan word of mouth goes far. You might want to rethink your practices. I certainly won't be recommending anyone to live here.

Stayed here for 3 months on a business trip. Newer construction, which was nice. Only complaint was how well I could hear the people in the unit below me, but it really wasn’t that big of a deal.
