- GWGrace WilkieFeb 27, 20215.0LOVE living at The Marling. The apartments are large and modern, with a variety of layouts and tons of storage space. The amenities are incredible- large gym, beautifully furnished club room, and outdoor fire pits and grills are my favorite. They have convenient parking at your floor (something I haven't seen anywhere else in Madison!) and a large package room with concierge. Management team is always super responsive and helpful, even when understaffed.

They made my apartment search and lease signing a breeze, as well as provided a spotless apartment upon move in. Finally their maintenance team has thus far responded quickly when needed and done an excellent job of keeping me in the loop while working to address any issue. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone!
- JDJohn DoeJun 12, 20201.0Where do I start? Between the design flaws of the building, inconsiderate staff, and some extremely prejudiced tenants, my stay here at the marling has been horrific. Trains come through the neighborhood at 3am blaring horns that wake me up every single night. I’ve witnessed the staff demonstrate bias practices with a few tenants & heard a situation where they tried to evict one based on noise level. I’ve heard tenants and building management having quiet conversations about the minorities who reside in and inquired about staying in the building. As a Caucasian male in his late 30’s, I’m truly disgusted. I will not be re-signing my lease nor will I recommend the marling to anyone who’s against prejudice. Was hoping the change of management companies would bring an actual change, but to my surprise nothing is different. 1/5 stars.
