LEGAL ACTION WILL BE TAKEN ! I lived here for just one year, I had a great experience until it came time for me to move out. I let management know I was moving out and then the management suddenly changed. I was told that my move out process was started and I was good to move things out so I continued to move out. at this time you could no longer call or go to the office because no sort of management was onsite and no one would call you back.
Let’s fast forward a lil bit, the following month of me moving out I receive a statement claiming I owe them rent. And this is where it gets crazy but no one from the office even started my move out process even though I was given the all clear that all proper documents have been submitted for me to move out. I call the regional manager and we talk and she give me the proper amount of my move out cost but unfortunately I’m now being avoided by the office as they have not changed the amount I owe and it is now on my credit report and now legal action will be taken!
Lived here for 2.5 years under the management of Paige who treated all residents like family, but most of all, humans that matter. Immediately after her leaving, I had an encounter with the owner who was very passive aggressive. All residents were given a notice of car removal to be set for a Monday which I didn’t receive due to an error with my file. Another resident made me aware of the email. I came downstairs to see if I could get an extra day if possible as I’d need help to ensure my daughters items were safely removed, to which the owner said no and told me I had 24 hours but instead, towed it immediately after I walked away. The office didn’t even notify me that it was being removed, I found out from another resident that urgently came to find me knowing that I had tons of my child’s items in there.
Paige use to personally tag updates on doors, call us when issues came up, helped residents that were elderly, had kids, or disabilities/health concerns. She was very involved with each of us and knowing us rather than just managing us. I truly miss that. She made the apartments feel safe and even came out of pocket herself with so much which she never had to do, but that just goes to show the kind of person she was. I never saw the owner around the property trying to upgrade or fix the issues they are now that she is gone which I think is sad and disheartening that he didn’t think to come by and check things out, as if the current residents were unworthy of the changes he’s now making.
The property is also unwilling to make payment plans even if you try for months on end. I was put in a really tough spot and ultimately decided leaving was the best for myself and my child as many other residents have recently done. It really sucks that people don’t give the same grace and compassion they may one day need.
This review isn’t to bad mouth the property, but to give an honest account of my personal experience here so other parents and individuals have the knowledge. I know the anger and frustration coming from higher ups is being misplaced and pushed onto us residents, and that’s something they have to deal with internally. God has bigger plans and better plans than any of us can fathom, so I pray for peace and prosperity over this property and every single person dealing with things that are negatively impacting their personal lives in this situation.
So completely pissed that no one got a notice on their doors about landscaping and my vehicle was towed, imagine rent being due the 1st and having to pay over $900 to get your vehicle from parkland because your property manager refused to walk their butts to three buildings to let us know they will be doing work outside and to move our vehicles which there are no spaces for us to park so we'd get towed for parking somewhere else. I am contacting a lawyer cause I will not be able to pay rent on time. Management needs to know we all don't have email address we check constantly the last property manager would place notices on our doors or call/text us about stuff
The towing complany even told us they were told they called us and left notes on our doors and gave us a court number to call cause they illegally towed over 10 vehicles
Sorry but you suck, and if I get charged a late fee for not being able to pay my rent on time I'll be contacting my lawyer same with others on the property
State law you have to put a notice on doors and contact vehicle owners before towing
Not only is no one here in the apartment but a ton of cars got towed yesterday morning due to being parked in a work zone but everyone has a assigned parking, the complex has gone to shit since Paige left, she made it feel safe and like a home if a notice was emailed she took the time to print out and tape to all doors just like a ton of other complexes especially since most elders like myself don't use a phone to check the app, when we signed our lease we were never told that was a way of communication otherwise we wouldn't of moved here I can't constantly try to look at my phone for some notices of towing cars when Paige never told me or put in our lease we have to use that for communication, now I'm out of $1000 because the office people are too lazy to print a notice for everyone about stuff that's going on. Not everyone uses technology get off your high horse stop being lazy and make printouts like everyone other complex
