I moved in on 11/5 and I have never been taken care of so well at an apartment complex. They made my move in smooth and effortless. When I couldn’t make it before they closed, they went out of their way to go set my keys in my unit and leave everything I needed along with instructions. They checked in on my the next morning and I even put a maintenance order in and within 12 hours they came to fix it! Schey has walked us through every step and answered every question (I have asked 1 million questions) and guided us through every step. I love this place already. VERY nice community and apartments, nice people, nice accommodations, and over all 10/10. Thank you for everything!

It’s a real nice place. Barely had any problems. Maintenance is good and very punctual. Indoor pool, pretty much everything. The staff is also polite. My dog and I couldn’t be happier.

Lived here for 14 months, and operationally I have absolutely no complaints. Leasing staff were polite and helpful, and maintenance always responded to requests within 24hours. Amenities were very nice and well maintained, but usually pretty crowded- which is to be expected considering how large the complex is. Unfortunately my complaints are with things you cant just slap a coat of white paint on. In relation to the Ocean Front, interstate, and grocery stores its a great location. However, this past summer was full of car break ins/petty theft, and it is located directly under the F18 flight path for Oceana. The jets will rattle your entire existence every 15-30 minutes, 12hours per day, at least 5 days per week. Reconsider moving here if you work from home. The jets are louder than you think, and will drown out any sound on a conference call. The buildings have bad insulation, and weak AC units. Luckily I already had a new apartment and was in the process of moving out at the beginning of the massive heat wave back in july, but my unit was above 85° that entire week getting as high as 89°. Im pretty sure the whole complex was having a similar experience considering the mass email from management explaining that the AC units are, "only designed to cool up to 20° below the temperature outside". It was over 105° outside. My new place was 70° that week and had no issue maintaining that temperature. My unit was also wired so poorly that i had frequent issues with lights flickering/going out and if the heat was on it was initially wired so that the AC ran at the same time. This resulted in my winter power bills being nearly $500/mo. I do believe this was the doing of the previous management company, and maintenance did fix the wiring, but after talking to some neighbors I do not believe my unit is the only one that had this issue. Honestly, surprised we didn't have an electrical fire. In addition to being poorly insulated, the windows have unclosable openings that all kinds of bugs can fit through. I had to stuff them with paper towels to stop the infiltration. Not a difficult fix, but it took me a while to figure out and it was irritating to deal with in the meantime. Once again, If I was just reviewing the leasing and maintenance staff alone I'd give them 5 stars. They did a great job of helping with issues as they came up, but the issues were either so irritating/expensive/entirely unfixable that i would have rather not dealt with them in the first place. The amenities are really nice, but you can't live in the clubhouse, and I can not reasonably recommend anyone move here with how expensive and sub-par the actual apartment is. (For reference, my new place is $250 more in base rent, but the utilities/fees at Linkhorn were so expensive that I'm still saving about $150/mo in total)
