I’ve lived here for about 1.5 years. This apartment complex is nice. It strikes a good balance between having a variety of amenities, being in a desirable location, and having a friendly staff, all for a decent monthly rent. I am overall satisfied with the living conditions here.
Pros:
- Modern kitchen appliances.
- Beautiful study room, community/game room, hallways, lobby area, and outside patio with outdoor grills.
- Great gym. Good selection of functioning equipment.
- The walls are made of concrete which does a great job of keeping outside noise to a minimum. Upstairs and nextdoor neighbors can barely be heard.
- Decent rent price for the area. 600sqft studio for $2,000/mo (utilities included).
- Very friendly and helpful staff.
- There is a locked package room. It can get full fast and can be hard to find your packages.
- There is a bicycle ride share bike rack right next to the building.
Cons:
- The gym equipment is not always thoroughly cleaned and the water fountains/water bottle dispenser trickle water. Barely usable.
- The paint for the walls in the units is pretty poorly done. Paint is chipped in multiple locations and sometimes during long hot showers, the bathroom wall seeps a lot of yellow liquid.
- The walls are made of concrete which means it’s virtually impossible to hang anything on the walls by nailing into them. Your only option to hang things is by taping the walls but because the paint job on the walls is so poor, the tape occasionally rips the paint off the wall and can’t hold some heavier objects.
- The building’s water heater has stopped working a couple of times throughout the year. I’ve had to take a couple cold showers.
- The building only has two elevators and one elevator is frequently reserved for tenants moving in/out leaving just one elevator for everyone else to use. Even so, usually don’t have to wait long.
- The laundry room washing machines and dryers are expensive to use and I wish there were more washing machines for the number of residents in the building. Also, in my time living here, I’ve seen one cockroach in the laundry room.
- The building’s bicycle storage is completely full and has no space to store your own bike there.

Today I visited this place and had an excellent experience, and Maya, Mateo, Jorge, and Jessica were so kind to me. It was truly an unforgettable experience love it 10/10
I lived at this property for 3 years (2022–2025). The location is great, and I have many good memories here during an important stage of my life. However, the leasing office staff is extremely unprofessional, irresponsible, and inefficient.
The leasing agent often shows impatience and an unhelpful attitude — as if she’s annoyed whenever residents approach her with questions or requests. When I called to clarify some questions about my documents, her response was literally, “I don’t know, I don’t know,” and she seemed eager to hang up. And, the 1500 email? Almost no one replied - had to go downstairs to actually talk to them to get their attention, and they would say "I got you email"...So... why not to reply?...
Residents deserve better communication and professionalism from the staff. Please improve the service and treat residents with respect — we are not a burden; we’re part of the community.

The 1500 Arlington Management team is truly spectacular. From moving in to moving out, they have gone above and beyond in accommodating my needs. No apartment living can be expected to be completely perfect, but if there was ever an issue, this team has been quick to not only respond but ensure that a problem is resolved. This complex is clean and also great because it used to be a hotel so the thick concrete walls make for little noise from neighbors. As per some comments, there was a time where not in my own apartment, but I did see some roaches in the hallways, and this was quickly mediated in a timely fashion. I have not seen any bugs since and the building maintenance continues to treat the area for bugs. Keep in mind the location and the fact that it is really hard to prevent any bugs from ever appearing in apartment living and it is most important that management treats the issue effectively and this was the case in my experience which is different from my other living experiences. I could not be more pleased with the experience I had at 1500 Arlington Apartments and I will forever be grateful to the management team for their hard work.
This place is a mix of renovated and not renovated apartments.
Overall its a 4/5. Cannot giving it a 5 due to the very small kitchen, the phone app for the building, and the increase in distrurbances since the apartment allows airbnb rentals and also rent on airbnb themselves and the people who are disruptive are all airbnb visitors. It has really lowered the quality of the apartments since this started in early 2025.
This place is dog friendly, has its own package room, gym, spaces for events and working from home. I am in a one bedroom one bath and have one large walk in closet, one linen closet, and one small closet in the bedroom. I had to buy an extra rack because I had too many dresses and these closest dont have much in terms of vertical space.
One thing I really love is that these apartments have no carpet, the rooms are spacious and there are lots of windows with cordless blinds that are vertical instead of just pushing horizontal to open and close.
Kitchens are extremely small and you can tell this is where they cut costs. Everything feels almost kid sized and the gas oven doesnt even tell you what temperature it is at. But for me as a single person, I can manage even with all the cooking I do.
I did have to buy a pantry as the shelves in the kitchen can be few or somewhat weird in some cases (one is so thin I only use it for oven pans)
The front office are all very nice and everyone in the building is as well. I also love the ability to walk into Rosslyn or the park where the Iwo Jima Memorial is.
.
They use key fobs instead of key and an app lets you invite guests and get them through the doors and elevators up to your room. You need to scan with the app to get into the package room as well and the app has glitched and not let us in.
