    My experience renting at this company was terrible and concerning. My roommates threw things at my bedroom as well as screamed profanity at me so often I had to stay somewhere else for weeks. I am being ghosted by PMI Made Simple as I continually try to reconcile costs from moving out early. PMI Made Simple has yet to respond to emails or calls and encouraged me to move out rather than the roommates who were harassing me / using substances within property.

    Quite possibly the WORST property management company I've ever dealt with! I can't believe the owners would actually use this company. Communication is limited strictly to electronic methods, which can be difficult for some tenants who are not comfortable using computers. I tried calling to assist a friend with setting up auto-pay, but the representative who answered, Dan, was extremely unprofessional and unhelpful. He refused to provide clear information or assistance. Additionally, their voicemail explicitly states that “tenants must communicate through electronic communication,” which further limits accessibility. A friend of mine reported a maintenance issue electronically and waited over a week without a response, eventually having to resolve the problem themselves. Overall, my experience suggests that this company provides poor customer service and lacks effective communication practices.

    I signed a lease sight unseen because I was moving from across the country. The property was 3 levels with a finished basement. When I arrived to move in, I found the basement was not finished. I called, messaged and asked if there wasn’t nothing anything we could do to fix the situation and they never followed up. Even after multiple communications from me. There is a PMI Made Simple portal you can submit maintenance requests through and chat a representative. I’ve never received a response. My 6 month lease is up at the end of August, 25. The property manager finally reached out to see if I’d be renewing my lease as they were hoping I’d stay. I told them no. Then never got a response or instructions on how to move forward. In July, 25 I submitted my move out forms in their portal. Mid August I text my property manager and messaged through the portal 3 times to let them know I had moved out. It’s August 17, 2025 and I still haven’t heard from the company or owners. No word on my $2,500 deposit. The house is in pristine condition and I am so frustrated. 1/10 DO NOT recommend. Find literally any other property management company please. Save yourself the experience of dumping cash into a place with no benefits or help. August 19, 2025 Update: I receive a quick text from the property manager saying, “ Got your messages we will get the keys on the counter. Thanks.” Still no replies in the portal and no mention of a security deposit being returned yet. No one has reached out in regards to this review or by phone to resolve anything I’ve experienced. August 25, 2025 Update: I reached out and messaged via the portal about my security deposit. THEY REPLIED! and I got my deposit back. Changed to 2/5 stars now.
