  I moved to Richmond due to change of relocation for work just recently and moved in a few days ago, during the process Abigail had been such a huge help reassuring me about my apartment answering any questions that I may of had and there was a lot but she was patient with me and helped ease my mind and making this process and move in a lot easier, so far the adjustment has been great my apartment is great the amenities are fantastic the maintenance team are really nice jordan the property manager is fantastic only downside I can truly say about the complex is just my bedroom window faces the pool (definitely not complaining) but mostly at night the string lights above the patio area are on 24/7 so the light shines right through my bedroom window keeping it bright 😂 but overall I’d have to say the leasing team is most definitely there when you need them and a tad bit underpaid but I’d recommend to my family and friends!

  Highly Recommend The Westbrook Apartments at Brewers Row! I can’t say enough great things about The Westbrook Apartments at Brewers Row, managed by SteelHead Management. From day one, this has been an absolutely outstanding place to call home, and I genuinely recommend it to anyone looking for a top-tier apartment community. The staff is truly exceptional, and I especially want to recognize Jordan Smith, Abigail Kozak, and Mackenzie Gammoh. Each of them went above and beyond to make the entire experience smooth, welcoming, and stress-free. Their professionalism, communication, and genuine care for residents really set this community apart. SteelHead Management is lucky to have such an amazing team representing them. I have lived in many apartment complexes and none of them compare to this place. I literally make it a point to go to the leasing office to talk to them everyday because I am so appreciative. A huge shout-out to the maintenance staff as well—they’re fast, friendly, knowledgeable, and always on top of requests. It’s refreshing to live somewhere that takes pride in keeping the property and units in excellent condition. The janitorial staff also does a great job keeping this facility clean. They are always working hard. The complex itself is fantastic — beautifully maintained with great amenities, services, and perks that actually enhance everyday living. The two story club house amazing and always has coffee for teleworking. The units are modern, clean, and comfortable, the location is convenient, and the views are incredible. On top of all that, the sense of community here is wonderful — the residents are friendly, helpful, and it truly feels like a place you’re happy to come home to. If you’re considering moving here, do not hesitate. The Westbrook Apartments at Brewers Row checks all the boxes and then some. Thanks to the work of SteelHead Management not only is this place beautiful but it's affordable as well. I couldn’t be happier living here and highly recommend it!   I had a very disappointing experience with this apartment complex during move-out. After leaving the unit in good condition, I was charged $660 for painting and “extra priming,” including $50 per spot, which is excessive for what appeared to be normal wear and tear. What’s most frustrating is the lack of transparency and supporting evidence. There were no clear photos showing damage in certain areas (like the living room), and some of the documentation included duplicate images being used to justify multiple charges. When I asked for clarification and a detailed breakdown, the responses were vague and ultimately just confirmed the charges without properly addressing my concerns. To make matters worse, I was previously told by the front desk that standard paint touch-ups would not result in additional charges, which clearly was not the case. This experience is unfortunately consistent with the reputation of the property management company, as reflected in other reviews. Charging such a high amount for basic repainting—without clear evidence—is unprofessional and unfair. I would strongly encourage future residents to thoroughly document everything upon move-out and be cautious of how charges may be assessed.

  This place is alright to live. My first week or two moving in my $200 bike got stolen and the management doesnt do anything about it. Maintenance requests arent taken care of or atleast one issue hadn't been resolved when we called. There's sometimes almost never any parking past 9pm aside from a 2 to 3 minute walk which isnt too bad unless you're tired from work or its raining. The staff that work for the apartment are the best thing about the actual place as everyone is kind and accommodating with events and get togethers. The amenities are good when they are available, the printer doesnt usually work and the pool tables are kid sized along with having broken sticks quite often. They have events though where they say the winner gets announced but they never announce any winner when the event involves shouting them out publicly so they get more peoppe to move in. This building is also next to a radio tower with a ton of warnings around it with a sketchy building connected to it that noone is ever at.

  I highly recommend Brian King, the assistant property manager. He did an amazing job assisting me, especially with rental assistance, and made me feel a lot better about my situation. I also really appreciate the apartment and the professionalism of the staff. I highly recommend this place!
