I lived at The Lucky Apartments in Culver City for 5 years, and it was a fantastic place. Aldin, the building manager, was always attentive and quick to reply, ensuring everything ran smoothly. The maintenance team kept the building tidy and made it feel new. I loved the large windows and natural light in the apartment, making it feel open and welcoming. While there weren’t amenities, the convenience of having storefronts downstairs—like N17 The Lane (a perfect place for food and drinks) —was a great perk. Overall, a well-managed and comfortable place to live!
Morgan was a huge help. We thought the building was very nice and modern.
We’ve lived here for about 9 months and contemplated on moving out 4 months into our lease. We really wanted to find a place we can call home for the next couple of years but unfortunately this isn’t the place. The insulation is bad here, you can hear everything your upstairs neighbor is doing, walking/stomping/slamming and closing doors, and everything that is dropped on the floor or rolled across the floor can be heard. You can hear which room they are in at all times, when they come home and when they leave. When the neighbors slam their doors it rattles our apartment and we are constantly disturbed by our upstairs neighbors especially during quiet hours when trying to sleep. Clearly there are sound proofing issues. We’ve never had these issues at previous apartments with hardwood floors and we even lived on the first floor. We can also hear our next door neighbors talking through the walls and the downstairs neighbors TV and crying child, which we tolerate but it is surprising to us since this is a brand new luxury building. For the price you are paying to live here you shouldn’t be able to hear your upstairs neighbor walking around.
Washington Blvd is a very busy street so be prepared to deal with very frequent sirens and honking from police/ambulance/and fire trucks day and night. In addition to the sirens, the traffic going by is easily audible with obnoxiously loud cars and motorcycles revving their engines for no reason like they are in fast and the furious. Sorry but no one wants to hear your fart can. The neighborhood is…okay. Occasionally there are random angry homeless people screaming profanities at all hours of the night and early morning on Washington.
The patio and our furniture gets caked with dirt/soot from the main road, so even though we have a nice big patio, no one really sits outside to enjoy it. We’ve had consistent issues with one of the sink faucets that keeps getting clogged with sediment and the smoke alarm goes off very easily when you’re trying to cook and nothing is even burning.
The only pros are the new appliances and the amazon locker, other than that there are zero amenities and no guest parking.
The property manager is friendly and usually responsive but that really doesn’t help if you don’t have peace and quiet in your own home. I highly recommend avoiding this place, you can find comparable if not better apartments in MDR or Playa Vista with amenities.
**10/5/2021** UPDATE, Response to the owner's reply below.
Hi, we actually have been in constant communication with management and they are being dismissive and not taking it seriously, giving us very corporate blanket responses that deflect their responsibilities saying they've gone above and beyond and it's out of their hands and nothing will be done to address our main concern. The 3 tenants upstairs recently moved out and the apartment is vacant, however instead of taking this opportunity to address the problem we were told by management that nothing will be done regarding the poor floor/ceiling insulation.

My wife and I love living at the Lucky Apartments. We have been here since October. We especially love our property manager, Aldin. He truly goes above and beyond for the tenants. He is great at communicating any issues with us, and he responds to any questions and/or concerns in a timely manner. Aldin is definitely a people person. He is kind, thoughtful, and professional. Thank you for everything you do, Aldin!
The apartments are nice, and the rent is comparable to other nice apartments in the area. They are upfront about what the apartment has to offer, and we were able to get a great move-in special!

This is a very clean and very nice apt building. It is well maintained all throughout the property. Whenever I see the maintenance staff or the property manager, Aldin, I’m greeted with a smile and professionalism. Aldin takes great care of the common areas, keeping them neat and letting me know when my big packages are delivered in the lobby. The smaller packages usually go into a secure Amazon locker that only the owner can open. I love the security here...even if someone somehow sneaks into the main lobby, the person can’t get into the elevator, garage or stairwell without a fab/key/app access code..the only thing a thief or criminal can do is walk back outside and leave. All the areas are well lit and some save energy because the lights in the garage and indoor- stairwell turn on when they sense motion. I have beautiful views of the hills and mountains from my balcony / windows and love that about my apartment. Inside, all the apartments come with a modern white and stainless steel look with the newest versions of appliances. Very sleek and beautiful. The big windows cover the outside noise pretty well except for the ambulances that love to use washington. There were a couple of instances with emergency alarms at night but that issue was fixed and it has been nice and quiet ever since. The kitchen fire alarm does go off easily if something is almost burning but I just open my big window and turn the microwave vent on while cooking and that helps a lot. The next door building has a sketchy person living in it but the building is getting renovated with new owners so that weird guy will be gone soon. The price is on the higher end but you’re getting a brand new building that smells fresh and looks beautiful inside and out, with a manager onsite that makes sure everything runs smooth. Also, there are spaces for small businesses on the ground floor that I’m looking forward to open once L.A. opens up from this crazy Covid shutdown.
