  Ballena Village is an amazing place to live not just because of the remodeled interiors and amazing amenities but because of the staff. I specifically wanted to call out Ana for all the amazing work that she did. She was extremely kind, listened to me and understood my needs, and even followed up and made recommendations based off of what I was looking for. Thank you, Ballena Village and thank you, Ana!

  ⸻ I had a great experience working with Lusi, our leasing consultant at Ballena Village Apartments. From the very beginning, she made the entire process smooth and stress-free. During the tour, she was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and took the time to answer all of our questions without ever making us feel rushed. Lusi really listened to what we were looking for and ultimately helped us find the perfect apartment that checked all of our boxes. Her attention to detail and genuine care made a huge difference. The property itself is beautiful—the amenities are exactly what we were hoping for and are always well-maintained. Now that we’re a month in, I can confidently say we absolutely love living here. Highly recommend both the community and working with Lusi!

  Since I moved in I have nothing but issues . The maintenance entered my house with no permission from me .The foundation around my bathroom is terrible.They add on late fees and refuse to contact you back once brought up . The property manger is a liar who says she well contact you back in don’t and on top of it all the give false Advertisement about Resident referral’s because once I moved in two months ago they well send out a check in two weeks after moving in that changed to a month to maybe two now no response from the property manger or Teresa Ellis her manager and I have been here 2 months they won’t even respond about it. Also give out promotions about who pays the first month rent to different people at least that’s what’s the manager states only people that’s move in ready but the apartment I applied for was not ready until the day it said it was which I moved in that same day so how I’m not eligible.

  Just moved in recently, but so far I’m really happy here! Lusi gave me a tour and she was super friendly, helpful, and welcoming from the start. The move-in process was smooth, and her manager Sam helped make everything easy, even speeding up a maintenance request right when I moved in, which I really appreciated. Shoutout to the maintenance team as well — I think it was Michael who came by to fix something in my kitchen, and he was great. My neighbors have been really kind too. The community is peaceful and honestly way quieter than I expected, especially with so many units and schools nearby. It feels like a great spot for singles, couples, and families. Also, I have to say, the insulation here is way better than most of the older buildings in the Bay. I was hella surprised. You really don’t hear much from outside or neighboring units, which makes a huge difference. If you’re coming from the city or Oakland, you know exactly what I mean. There are no constant emergency vehicle sounds, just a low rumble of a few planes, ducks quacking, and the occasional seals in the morning. So far, everything’s been smooth. I also love that neighbors look out for each other, and there’s regular security patrol at night, which makes me feel even more comfortable. Overall, so far so good and I’m really glad I chose this place!

  I moved from across the country to Ballena Village (sight unseen). This process could have been extremely stressful but the team here made it super easy. Ana, Lusi and Sam made the move a breeze and were extremely responsive. I have since lived here for almost a year and the team even helped me transfer units internally when I wanted to upgrade (an available option after only 6 months)! Overall, amazing experience and to anyone wanting some assurance like I was when moving from far away and can't make it out to tour- this is the place for you!
