    Living here has been one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve ever had with an apartment complex. The constant noise—especially the nonstop, heavy stomping from above—has made it nearly impossible to relax in my own home. Management has been notified, yet nothing meaningful has been done. Maintenance is just as disappointing. Work orders are routinely closed without the actual issue being fixed, almost as if checking the box is more important than resolving the problem. Issues drag on for weeks or months with zero accountability. On top of that, the building constantly reeks of weed. It travels through the vents and hallways, and nothing is done about it despite repeated complaints. For a property that advertises “quality living,” the reality is the complete opposite. I absolutely would not recommend living here. The disregard for residents’ comfort, safety, and basic maintenance is unacceptable.

    Sometimes things happen like HVAC leaks. It's not lovely but stuff happens. I want to personally commend Fernando, maintenance chief, who got to my apartment ASAP to take care of the problem. This is my first month at the Preston. Thank you also to Mrs. Kathy for getting my request properly addressed and squared away. We live in an imperfect world but what I see with maintenance & management at the Preston, they pursue excellence and perfection. Superlative effort and results in minimal time to address. Well done.

    My partner and I currently stay here and I am regretting resigning a lease because of an incident that happened earlier this week (8/4/25) after I paid my rent. Their payment system apparently wasn’t working on the first, so it didn’t track the rest of my prorated rent before my new lease starts on the 23rd. Normally procedure would be if I had a balance due that they would leave a note on the door like they’ve been doing for the past two years that I’ve been living here. So to escalate from giving me my balance, they resorted to trying to give me an eviction notice and trying to key into my apartment when the balance said that it wasn’t due until August 22nd (when my old lease would end) but they’re handing out eviction notices. The property staff was almost giddy to hand my girlfriend the eviction notice when I had already spoke to that specific person (Bella) on the first to make sure that I am paying the right balance. The whole interaction just honestly left a sour taste in my mouth so do be weary when you live over here. It was so nice before I didn’t have any problems until now and it’s such a big issue and the fact that she was almost happy to hand it to me and I have the Video evidence from my doorbell camera to prove that. I’m very disgusted with how this was handled because I used to work in a leasing office and that is not normal procedure in the state of Texas.
