Research the company before building, do private inspections on the house ( even if its new construction), make sure everything they agree to is in writing, they like to change their minds a lot. Terrible customer service for spending 850K in a house.
- AOAlvarez OutdoorsJun 18, 20243.0Walked in, asked sales person to tell me about the $699k, he smirked and says doesn’t exist. Lot premium alone takes it PAST $725k, evidently all lots have premiums or all lots remaining at least. Hardware standard finishes are chrome and he says nobody likes those, so all those are upgrades, otherwise it looks like the basic run of the mill tract home builder. He told me to expect to be around $800k especially if expect a third car garage (which is way over my budget). Standard features are not what is expected for the price, although homes have a good looking elevation. Was really looking forward to speak with them about new home construction but unfortunately left feeling like the old bait and switch was on from the get go. Never got the tour or into builder incentives etc. On a positive note, the area is great and their mode home, from what I saw, appeared beautiful and salesperson was honest and nice so if I happen to run into a pile of money I might go back.
