After submitting my application, I initially had difficulty reaching someone by phone to ask questions. Despite this, the staff I eventually spoke with seemed pleasant, and I scheduled an appointment—which I confirmed multiple times. Upon my arrival, there was only one person in the office. She did not greet me or offer assistance, instead giving me a dismissive look as if questioning whether I was in the right place. She was neither with a customer nor on the phone or computer, so the lack of acknowledgment was surprising. Before I could leave, the property manager approached me. She was extremely professional, welcoming, and kind. She invited me to her office, took the time to answer my questions, and made me feel genuinely valued. During our conversation, I mentioned that I had an appointment and needed to return to work. She apologized and explained that the staff member I had spoken with earlier would arrive shortly. While I waited, two other couples entered and were greeted immediately and enthusiastically—not by the property manager, but by the two other leasing agents. Once the representative I had originally scheduled my appointment with returned, I was ignored and told I could either wait longer or tour the apartment on my own. I found this dismissive and unprofessional. Despite my frustration, I proceeded to tour the apartment independently. The following morning, I spoke with the office once more regarding next steps, but after that conversation, all communication ceased. I have since made numerous attempts to reach out via phone calls, emails, and text messages with no response. At this point, I can only assume that my application was denied, and I am now requesting information regarding the refund of my deposit. Every family’s situation is different, and I understand that not all applications are approved. However, the lack of communication and professionalism throughout this process is deeply concerning. Families explore many options when searching for a place to call home, and for personal reasons, they choose one out of many—just as I did. Regardless of approval status, consistent communication and timely updates are fundamental to providing a respectful and transparent experience. I hope this matter can be resolved promptly
