The property itself is well-kept — the location was very clean and the two-bedroom I viewed for $1,200 was in decent condition (though in my opinion, overpriced for what it offered). That said, I was very frustrated with the leasing office’s handling of identification. I was told my U.S. military ID was “not a government ID” and could not be accepted to tour. This is incorrect. A military ID is a federal government–issued identification card. It is valid for accessing military installations, boarding commercial flights, and even verifying identity for federal services such as Social Security. If it is acceptable for high-security government functions, it should certainly be acceptable to view an apartment. As someone who was recently robbed and did not have my driver’s license at the time, I was fortunate to have my passport with me. Otherwise, I would not have been able to tour despite having a valid military ID. That felt like poor training on the part of staff, not a reasonable policy. This isn’t a small mom-and-pop business — this is a professional apartment complex in a community where many military families live. I hope management provides proper training to staff so other service members don’t face the same issue in the future. Overall, the apartments are not bad, but this experience left me with serious concerns about professionalism and respect toward military residents and their families.

- MAMichelle AlondraAug 15, 20251.0Do not recommend to move in here. I had a terrible experience. On friday August 1st at 10:00 pm one of the toilets in my apartment started overflowing non stop. It flooded the whole bathroom, the closet in the bathroom and my personal belongings got ruined with toilet water,b the water came out all the way to the bedroom which also damaged part of my bed which is furnaced. Both of the bathtubs were filled with dirty water. I called the office number several times to get in contact with the emergency service but I was sent directly to voicemail each time. I also put in an emergency work maintance order through the portal. I ended up having to contact an outside plumber at midnight and paying $250 out of pocket because the water kept pouring out and I couldn't get in contact with maintance. Turns out the whole building plumbing was backed up and whatever would drain from the apartment above mine was coming out of my pipes. I didn't hear from maintance until the next morning, if I hadn't pay for the outside plumber I would've had my apartment flooding with toilet water all night. Now they refuse to reimburse me or deduct the repairs from my rent even though I showed the office proof of my calls attempting to get in contact with them, a recording of the call sending me to voicemail with the time and date, and the invoice of the plumber with pictures he took of the clogged pipes outside of the building. I've called the office manager several times and she would refuse to speak to me and tell the assistant to tell me she'll call me later each time I called, which she never did. It is not my responsibility to fix their plumbing for all of the other apartments in my building. The only reason I payed to get it fixed was because I couldn't have my 2 year old stepping or touching toilet water flooding our apartment. The only reason I decided to stay before this incident happened was because its a very quiet complex to live alone with my son but other than that the apartments are very old and over priced, they just paint over the stains and old wood. The appliances are very outdated. You can definitely find better options for the price. I will not be renewing my lease to say the least.
