  In these apartments they charge you unduly, I filed an application a long time ago and paid the deposit, but they did not refund it after they told me that they would evaluate me. I am currently without an apartment and without my deposit.

  Living here was a huge disappointment, especially after the management change. We were constantly charged for things that were broken or poorly repaired before we ever moved in. One of the worst examples was the washer and dryer, which were malfunctioning within the first week. The washer leaked and wouldn’t drain our clothes properly. When maintenance finally showed up, all they did was run the machine and watch YouTube videos to figure out what to do. They claimed the washer wasn’t draining because of hair buildup — and then billed us for a “repair” that was never even completed. We also listed cracks in the walls and flooring that was lifting on our move-in sheet, but no one ever came to fix them. Yet we were charged at move-out for those same issues. Now, we’re even being billed for repairs to the exterior shared patio, including damage in areas no one can physically reach. It makes no sense and feels like they’re just pushing any and all costs onto tenants to cover their own lack of upkeep. The lack of service this place offers is unbelievable. It’s not the tenant’s fault that your maintenance team is unqualified or that reported issues go ignored. We fulfilled our responsibilities as residents — they absolutely did not. Avoid this complex if you value fair treatment, honest management, and basic accountability.

  I really enjoy living at Emerson at Buda. The front office is always friendly and helpful. The apartments are nice, spacious, and any issues are addressed promptly. While choosing apartments, Sydney was able to find the perfect home with everything I asked for at the location I wanted. It's nice to know they have various floor plans at both upper and lower levels. The front office schedules a variety of fun activities as often as possible to foster a vibrant and family-friendly community vibe. There is security cameras located around the area that help everyone feel safe. I’ve been here for nearly three years and feel like a valued member of the community.
