  I stopped by in search of a 2-bedroom apartment, the staff was super friendly and Aracely was incredibly helpful. She asked all the right questions and provided lots of information about the community and the apartment. I can’t wait for my lease to be up so I can see if there’s something available for me at that time.

  I went in to apply for a 2 bedroom and love the assistance I received. Ashley Smith is amazing!! She answered all my questions and went above and beyond to help me and my husband. Love it

  Trying to move from michigan to Texas is hard. Ive heard good things about this complex. Derrick S Bivens has really been working with me regarding the application process. Hope i get the apartment staff seems nice.

  I was very let down by the staff members at the stoneleigh. I have been looking forward to moving soon and they were top on my list. I have lived with my husband and his family for the past 4 years and we have a 3 year old child together. We both decided finishing school and getting jobs were first on our list before moving out. We have now saved up the amount we wanted to move in and so I went to the office on 05/02/13 and spoke with the young lady at the front desk who was very polite and respectful and was ready to help me. I explained our family situation and let her know that we are only common law married which in the state of Texas is legitimate as a form of marriage.. We do not have a marriage license but do consider ourselves married and combine our incomes. I explained that we have tax documents for the past 4 years proving so. She told me she would check with someone to see if that would be an issue. When she came back out she told me we would be considered roommates and that we each needed to have 3x the amount of the rent. I was confused that they did not understand that we are in fact married just as anyone who has the documents according to texas laws. Then another woman came out of her office saying that filing taxes together was illegal and I could go to jail. I then asked her name (Kathy or Cathy) and told her that she was wrong but because of the fact that she was very rude and unprofessional I told her I was no longer interested and left with my child. I have since re-reviewed the informal marriage laws in Texas and I know that she was wrong.. In all honesty, as much as I wanted to choose the stoneleigh apartments, Kathy gave me a very bad impression. I will be calling Monday and hope to speak to the manager and let her know.. She actually violated the Fair Housing law by discrimination of familial status. I hope that anyone looking for a home here does not run into that woman!!!
