  The only reason I clicked on one star was so I could give this review. In all my 41 years of life, I’ve never left a review of where I’ve lived until now. Where or how do I begin. I had the unfortunate experience of living in this “community” for several years. I paid my rent on time, I minded my business. I didn’t talk to anybody. I’m a very private person and kept to myself. I will begin by saying, if you value the safety of your family & children, then this is not the place for you. Whether it’s drive-by shootings, mass fights and random assaults, this is what Canaan pointe is all about. You have to bring your family upstairs if you’re lucky enough to get them out of the living room to avoid any stray bullets that may come through your living room window after the sun goes down. Children of all ages whether they’re in diapers or high school, terrorize the parking lot While their parents are absent and nowhere to be found. The kids will cuss you out with a Capri Sun hanging out the side of their mouth while they’re standing in the middle of the street about to be ran over by a car. Babies with pampers on will run through the street while they’re six-year-old brother or sister screams at them to get out of the road. People here have no care for the way they live and the management cares even less. There is no maintenance or upkeep of the inside of the apartment that you are renting. They will put tape around your door which has enough space separation that you can see the daylight coming through while the door is closed, They will put a fan in your house when rainwater comes in through the tape on the door and floods your home. It doesn’t matter how clean you are or how clean you keep your home the bugs are inevitable. They’re gonna come regardless, just like they pay rent with you. And they ain’t going nowhere. Because pest control is a joke they’ll two squirts in your kitchen of whatever they have in their little canister and leave. Trash. The amount of trash that sits on this property is almost equal to a that of a Third World country. They will threaten a fine for leaving a trash bag beside the dumpster, but they won’t fine or evict the people who are shooting up the apartments and unloading their guns every weekend. Management is a joke. It always happens when these places change management. They don’t care if there’s gang activity, They don’t care if people are shooting guns freely. So if you’re looking for a gun range that also serves as your Residence where the management does not care, this is the place for you! Dani sits behind the desk and vapes in the office but won’t return emails, & does not have a clue what’s going on half the time. I don’t care if I don’t get my deposit back you couldn’t pay me to live here ever again in life. You can do drugs out in the open, you can sell drugs out in the open, and you can definitely pop off a couple rounds, But just as long as you don’t leave your bag of trash by the dumpster or in a breezeway , then your living experience at Canaan Pointe will be fantastic!

  I love the neighbourhood I love the people here one thing it could use at the basketball court is a single rim instead of double rim

  An absolutely amazing front office experience. Mary and Dani gave me so much information about the property as well as offered me a tour of the property. They we're so polite when explaining one of my thousands of questions. I thoroughly enjoyed viewing and discussing this property with them.
