This house is perfect for a large group traveling with dogs. The back yard was amazing and location was fantastic being only steps away from a beach access point. Everything was clean and up to date and Sea Mountain Vacations was very accommodating. We will definitely be staying here again in the future!!

Traveling for work doesn’t always need a 3 day minimum. We were able to book for one night which is rare. The price for that location is a bargain. You have a pool, hot tub, 5 bedrooms and most importantly… you can fish off the deck. It’s the best location and nicely decorated. The most important was that the A/C was not locked at 70 on the thermostat. We are in Myrtle every month and hope to stay here again.

My fiancé and I spent a long weekend at their Seahouse villa. While we were thankful for our time away from home to relax, we would not stay here again, nor would we recommend anyone we know to stay here.
The good: The unit is very large. It was just the two of us plus our dog, but we could've easily fit eight more people in there if necessary. The unit is right on the beach. The location was perfect, just steps down to the ocean. Lots of updates to the unit. Samsung washer/dryer. Stainless steel appliances and modern design touches.
The bad: First thing to know- I requested an early check-in. The only reply I received was a link to a website that I could pay $50/hr to check-in early. I thought that was a bit absurd. I messaged again about this fee to which there was no response. Once we got there, my fiancé noticed that the rug and furniture in the living room smelled of urine. We also noted that the water pressure in the master bathroom was almost non-existent. I did let the host know and they offered to have someone come by and assess these issues. We declined considering we were only staying for a long weekend. The following night, it was raining very heavy, the ceiling was leaking, and water was pouring from the cabinets in the kitchen. I promptly made the host aware; they sent maintenance and offered to put us in a different unit but at that point, we were checking out the next morning so opted to just stay put. Later that night, we did see a few roaches in the kitchen. We were on the top floor, so I am not sure that moving to a different unit would've fixed that issue at all. To end the stay, I did request a late check-out. The reply that I received made absolutely no sense. I read the reply to my fiancé several times and we both said, "It sounds like they are confusing us with another person." They never responded with a "yes" or "no" when I asked a "yes" or "no" question about a late checkout. So there was some confusion again there. But we ended up just leaving at the scheduled time and went on about our day.
I really hate leaving bad reviews, but I do feel this is my honest opinion of our stay here
