  Don’t Expect to Get Your Deposit Back No matter how well you clean, don’t expect to get your deposit back at Cumberland Apartments. We left the place in great condition — cleaned thoroughly, followed the lease, and took care of the apartment. Despite that, they kept 75% of our $2,000 deposit, claiming only a “small portion” was refundable with no real explanation. We reached out to ask why and were met with vague or no answers. It honestly feels like they planned not to return most of it no matter what. We were respectful tenants and still ended up being treated unfairly. Future renters — be careful. Document everything and know that getting your deposit back may be a fight.

  Although we have not moved in yet, working with Lauren Kellermen Leasing Consultant made is much less stressful in our apartment search! She was very upfront and informative through some hiccups along the way! Her spirit is kind and she feels like a good human to me! May I add, all this communication was over the phone and email! My family and I look forward to start our next journey at Cumberland Crossing! I hope that Lauren stays for a longtime!

  If you check the Cumberland Crossing's website, you will see that most available apartments are in the back of the complex. Tenants move out as soon as they can because they are not happy to live there. The main reason for people moving out is the highway, masked by groups of trees. But make no mistake, you will feel like living right in the middle of the highway due to the noise. And when accidents happen, mostly at night, the noise gets even worse with the presence of ambulance, firetrucks, and towing devices. Backed up lanes, upset drivers, unlimited honking. Maintenance is lazy, it takes months at the time for them to show up and fix something. Office workers are nice until you sign up the lease because they want your money. After that, they treat you like dirt. If you rent here, you will be sorry for the duration of your lease because the place is expensive and you don't get what you pay for.

  Unprofessional, rude staff that always checked out by 3pm, extremely loud residents that act like animals and cook very smelly food, kids screaming at the top of their lungs, overpriced, foul smelling foods etc, not recommended
